"Hardwork beats talent"

Watch him amaze audiences
Throughout my life there is one constant phrase being repeated, "hard work beats talent" I am beginning to believe this, and find new ways to strengthen my craft. I have always relied on how great others tell me I am, never finding more to grow on or make new. Confidence is a great thing, but one is only as strong as his/her ego, when it breaks there is no repairing it with talent. we must Work hard.
I just had the pleasure of watching The Taking of Pendulum 123 and examining Denzel Washington's growth. He has always been one of my favorite actors, and I never took the time to understand why. At some distant moment it was all the hype on the amount movies he was featured in, and how much money they were making.I realize it is more than that,he has grown in the way he commits to character; body, face, and the change of emotions. It's as if he's lived the lives of each character he takes the role of. Take the movie Training Day and compare that to The Taking of Pendulum 123, or another movie he has done. There is no signature, and it doesn't need to be. This is what makes him great, you can see how hard he works.
I know a young man who many have always been comparing him to Denzel and Will Smith. He wasn't always fixated on being an actor, but inspired by a man and a network that gave him the tools to become a great actor. He created a blueprint of how much he valued the craft. He will soon be attending SUNY Purchase and I'm more than sure he will graduate at the top of his class. I will be paying to watch him on the big screen by the time he graduates if not his 2nd year of college. I have seen dedication, hard work, and something I cant quiet put my heart on. He He inspires with how optimistic he has become, and the way he cherishes the craft of acting.Unlike when a tree changes the color of its leaves before our eyes in fall, he blooms in winter so when the sun rises we are astonished by his survival through the war.
