today i happened to be speaking to a really amazing and inspiring spoken word poet and champion;this is one of the many things he said to me.

"your story is uniquely beautiful"

no one has EVER told me this before. they've always said it was different but never beautiful, that's exactly what i want others to feel and experience the beauty in my work weather its painful or not.
