so, i was jus bloggin' on TUMBLR and came across a new face which leads me into my quote of the day "Don't ever give up. Everything you've ever wanted is just around the corner waiting for you"

so, the theater group at my job put together this AMAZING, AMAZING performance addressing the link b/t domestic violence and teen pregnancy. in the process I was asked to write 3 pieces to plug between scenes, this is the 1st one;

Elmer's gluing the crevices in her spine
she wants to know what ir feels like to be innocent
BROKEN
she still keeps walking
as if heaven has carved wings into the calices of her foot bottom
she is finally an angel
been walking foe too long
now she flies

so, i officially began writing when I was six. I was cleaning up just about 2 days ago and discovered a few old poems, I would really love to share these with you;

like a sphinx with it's mysterious smile
like a passionate stare into my eyes
like a puzzle that can't be put together
like the change in weather
like the tie of a lace
like the expression on your face
a look of disarray
like a beautiful sunset turned grey

where do you get ur inspiration to write poems ?

it originally began form just feeling like i was my own mother at the age of six, later on it became about a struggle; to find myself in the world and all the fucked up shyt such as poverty, and rape, or even heartbreak became a way for me to liberate others and myself <3
